Aanchal was born on the 1st of January 1984 in New Delhi, India, only child of her parents. She was raised at the maternal home by her mother with the support of her grandparents.
At a very early age in 1992 she moved to the Middle East, studied and lived in a cosmopolitan culture with her mother for many years ; where she concentrated on Hindi as part of her heritage, learnt swimming, singing, dancing and became a voracious reader with particular fondness for books on women empowerment,Aanchal also has a huge passion for photography. In 2002 she travelled to Dehradun, studied for a dual specialization Bachelors in Physiotherapy and MD Degree in Alternative Medicines.
On August 22, 2008 she arrived in Toronto to become a Permanent Resident of Canada, pursue her higher studies in Health Care Management and continue with her professional endeavors. She currently works as a Asst Physiotherapist/ Kinesiologist and practices Yoga following the ideology of Swami Ramdev. On August 22 2009, she participated at the 19th Annual Miss India Canada Beauty Pageant held at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Toronto. Representing Mississauga Aanchal’s triumphing moment was her soothing and earthy rendition of the classical song, ‘Kajra Mohabbat Wala’ from the film Kismat in the talent round.
Following the talent round Aanchal further cemented and solidified her position as a lead contender for the crown with her articulate response to a tricky question pertaining to the influence and impact of networking technologies on the youth of today. Aanchal’s response to the question exhibited honesty, poise and maturity traits crucial for a beauty pageant queen.
Aanchal wants to become an ambassador of peace, goodwill, harmony and compassion in order to do full justice to the Miss India-Canada organization’s motto “For beauty with a purpose”.
With the Miss India-Canada title, Aanchal wants to forge ahead into fields yet to be explored by her: Entrepreneurship, Social services, Health services, the Entertainment world and beyond…
Aanchal's message to her well wishers is :
"Believe in yourself Dream Big and Ride on! Rough shod if need be, smooth shod if that will do, but ride on Ride on over all obstacles, and win the race"..
